Angioedema:

Swelling similar to urticaria (hives), but the swelling occurs 
beneath the skin instead of on the surface. Angioedema is 
characterized by deep swelling around the eyes and lips and 
sometimes of the hands and feet. 

(angio-ed-ema) - swelling of the lips that occurs because of 
an allergic reaction. 

sudden onset of periodic, recurrent episodes of 
noninflammatory swelling of skin, mucous membranes, and other 
tissues, associated with food allergies, urticaria or possibly 
stress or emotional factors.
